I went to Dallas' gayborhood to get myself a snazzy haircut—which turned out fabulous by the way, thanks for asking. Afterwards, I had some time to kill so I stumbled into the neighboring coffee house. I'm happy I did because it was quite the pleasant surprise. Buli Café has more than justa buncha coffee drinks; they have a full menu, including desserts and such!I got myself their garden burger panini, which was quite delicious—I think the panini bread made it. I do believe it was like an herby roasted red pepper soft foccacia bread. Delish. And it came with yummy kettle chips, a cucumber soaked in evil, and some okay syrupy peaches (which I'm sure you'll like if that's your thing...I prefer fresh). What really made it for me was the brilliant "packaging"—the meal was served in a precious little lunch box!
All in all, a nice treat that I would recommend. Friendly little place, patrons seem to like to do homework/work there. And I, of course, love the absolute gayness of the place. Queer cheer is pervasive here. I totally diva'd it up and enjoyed reading their copy of "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood" while enjoying my very filling and yummy lunch.
